where we showcase GREEN LIVING for every home.
We would like to spread awareness about how each of us can do our bit to nuture our planet through a fun event : Hara Bhara Jhola Mela with ideas on zero waste management to eco shopping to healthy food. A green game to make it an enjoyable visit to the mela and many suprises to be won every hour with special on spot games/quiz about our Mother Earth.
The decor will be ecofriendly diwali theme....
Special elements of the Mela are:
1) we will be showcasing how our waste like tetra packs can be recycled to make valuable products like water proof roofing roofing sheets and various recycled products
2) we are also doing a recycling drive where friends can donate duppattas , bedsheets , sarees which will be recycled into grocery/vegetable bags/pouches. we plan to spread these bags in busy markets to vegetable/fruit vendors spreading awareness on making cloth bags a norm and reduciing the load of plastics on the planet.
For those who donate, we will be gifting them a token bag earned by their green deed of recycling
