ur major focus is on education. We have carried out more than 700+ community services till date. Our activities are not just restricted within Chennai. We carry out activities in all parts of India wherever our volunteers are from. Most of our activities happen in rural villages of Tamil Nadu.
So, what’s our goal?
1) To help the needy who do not get any help from others.
2) To make the common man to help the needy.
Whom do we help?
Following are the different areas which Team Everest supports:
1. We preferably help Govt/Panchayat/Corporation schools. We are looking for more voluntary support rather than monetary help.
45 volunteers from Team Everest conducted 20 parallel session for 984 students and helped them how to use a dictionary. We distributed dictionary to all the students. Thanks to Cognizant Outreach for sponsoring the dictionaries.
2. Under privileged school/college students who study well but are financially poor and have no one to support them.
3. Motivating young students and fellow Indians through various initiatives.
4. Teaching good morals and ethics to students through movie screening, puppet shows etc.
5. Career planning session for rural students.
6. Orphanages/old age home visits.
Who can be a volunteer for Everest?
Anyone who is interested to serve India can be a volunteer in Everest.
