Educo Kindergarden, at Tangra, Kolkata
Educo kindergarden, at Tangra, Kolkata: for those who don't know the story:- in 2009 Educo learnt the plight of Shazia - a 22 year old girl, who wanted to set up a school in her community; Arvind Sinha, film director, made a documentary about Shazia, and the poor (Muslim) slum where she lives. In August 2010, Shazia, Arvind and Educo opened a crèche & kindergarden, the culmination of Shazia's dream. 223 pupils have started school, with not a single drop out! Well done Shazia & Arvind!

Many thanks
Educo would like to heartily thank Rushat Rai, Kushagra Rai, Sanjiv Rai and Arpana Rawat for donating a fullsize piano to the EDUCO Saibaba Path school in order that children from both the EDUCO school and the municipal school can benefit from learning a wonderful musical instrument. We promise that this piano will be a great musical tool to help the children to add another string to their bow (figuratively speaking !). Any other kind donations of this nature are welcome. Once again thank you.
